We are Anika and Sven, the founders of Hello Krk.
Over the years, we have returned to the island of Krk again and again and slowly fell in love not just with the place itself, but with the unique feeling it gives you. Instead of experiencing Krk like typical tourists, we started exploring the island more deeply – searching for hidden spots, quiet beaches, and places you won’t easily find online.
While doing that, we noticed something: most information about Krk is scattered across different websites. Everyone shares their own tips, but there is no single place where everything is clearly organized. That’s exactly why we created Hello Krk – a project and app that brings together the best places, real experiences, and valuable Krk tips in one simple and structured space.
Our vision with Hello Krk
With Hello Krk, we want to make the island easier to explore: both for visitors and locals. Our goal is not just to share popular places, but to highlight authentic experiences and support local partners on Krk who are often not very visible online.
We work closely with local businesses and combine our experience as content creators and developers to build something useful: the Hello Krk App – your personal guide for the island of Krk. A place where you can find curated recommendations, hidden gems, and everything you need for your Krk trip in one app.
